# Show your products in Meta AI

> Let shoppers find your products when they ask Meta AI. It is off until you turn it on, it never changes your store, and shoppers buy through your own checkout.

More shoppers now ask an AI assistant what to buy. Catalogue sharing lets Vortex IQ put your products in front of shoppers who ask Meta AI, with your price, your currency, your picture and a link straight to your store.

<Note>
  **Coming soon.** BigCommerce stores come first, then Adobe Commerce (including Magento Open Source). You can opt in now, and your store is included when sharing goes live.
</Note>

## How it helps you

* **Be found where shoppers are asking.** When someone asks Meta AI for a product you sell, your store can be part of the answer.
* **Your price, your store.** Shoppers see the price and currency from your store, and every product links to its own page on your site.
* **Nothing to set up.** It uses the product catalogue Vortex IQ already keeps in sync for your dashboards. No feed to build, no app to install.
* **You stay in control.** It is off by default, set one store at a time, and you can turn it off whenever you like.

## Turn it on

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your store connection">
    In Vortex IQ, go to **Settings → Connected Sources** and open your BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Magento or Shopify connector. Select the store.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tick the box">
    Under **Meta AI catalogue sharing**, tick **Show this store's products in Meta AI**. Your choice saves straight away.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If you run more than one store or channel, each one has its own box, so you can share some and not others.

## What is shared, and what is not

| Shared with Meta AI | Never shared |
| - | - |
| Product name, short description and brand | Cost price, margins or sales figures |
| Category | Exact stock levels |
| Price and any sale price, in your store's currency | Customer details or order history |
| Whether it is in stock (yes or no) | Products you have hidden or disabled in your store |
| Main product image | Anything from stores you have not opted in |
| The link to the product page on your store | |

## Prices and checkout

* **The price your shoppers see is your price.** We use the price your store shows on the product page, in your store's currency, so it matches what a shopper sees when they arrive. Shipping and tax are worked out by your checkout, as usual.
* **Shoppers buy on your site.** There is no basket or checkout inside Meta AI. A shopper follows the link to your product page and buys through your normal checkout, so the order, the payment and the customer relationship stay with you.

## It never changes your store

Catalogue sharing only reads. Vortex IQ does not change your products, prices, stock, basket or orders to make it work.

## Turn it off

Untick the box. Your store stops being searched, and its products stop appearing in Meta AI.
